Urgent News: July 27, 2021

We have a positive resident COVID-19 case in our Memory Care neighborhood. At this time, Memory Care is closed to IL and AL residents. All other MC and AL residents, and MC and AL staff that were in the Community tested negative. We are testing IL residents and the remaining staff very soon. COVID-19 Vaccine Update

St. Anthony’s Gardens has partnered with CVS pharmacy to provide convenient access for the COVID-19 Moderna vaccination for our residents, staff and volunteers. We are happy to report that we have received our vaccination clinic dates:

Dose 1 – January 21st, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Dose 2 – February 18th, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Dose 3 – March 18th, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

TO PROTECT ALL OUR RESIDENTS AND STAFF, our vaccination goal is 100% participation by residents, staff and volunteers. If you have not submitted your consent form, ID and insurance card, I encourage you to submit the documents listed below as soon as possible:

1. Vaccine Intake Consent Form
2. If applicable, Responsible Party/POA Form
3. Photo-copied image of each participant’s insurance card, both front and back.
4. Photo-copied image of ID, both front and back.

You may give the documents to the Concierge or email the documents to Connie Cousin, Director of Health Services at ccousin@stanthonysgardens.org.

• Keep in mind it will take time for your body to build protection after the vaccination.
  
• The COVID-19 vaccine requires two shots and you may not have protection until a week or two after your second shot.
  
  It is important for everyone to continue with the current guidance to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We ask that our residents and visitors cover your mouth and nose with a mask when around others, stay at least 6 feet away from others, avoid crowds, and wash your hands often.
